I've had a interest in photography going back to the late 80's early 90's when I got my first camera a Ricoh (film). After a few years the photography went by the wayside due to other commitments in my life, I got back into photography when I was asked by the company I worked for Foldhill Foods Ltd / Laughing Dog Food if I would take some picture of a dog show they were holding, I said yes. So the following weekend myself and the wife went out camera shopping.

I came back with a Canon 450D which was a learning curve for me as it was a digital camera, after several months of using the 450D I then moved on to the Canon 60D. I did a couple of weddings for friends with the Canon 60D and some shots of landscapes, waterfalls and wildlife. I soon found myself moving on to my next camera a Canon 5D mk3 as i had the bug again.

Taking early retirement in 2018 after 38 years service, I now have more time to pursue my hobbies, photography, wildlife and walking. Since my retirement I've done an online photography course and a Html / Css course, which is why I've done this website to show some of the views I see whilst me and the wife are walking in the lake district. The best place in the world to be.
